We have a new 2010 Impact Factor, acceptance rates and a new way of looking at our All-time Top Twenty Articles. I know many of us are forced to look at these issues now.

And we are upping our visibility in indexes and directories. This process will continue.

The journal is still completely open access, but it you value what we have published over the years, and want to see us continue, you might want to consider joining the Surveillance Studies Network, the not-for-profit association which owns Surveillance & Society. This will also give you a say in the future of the journal and help you get more involved in Surveillance Studies worldwide.
