We have a new 2010 Impact Factor, acceptance rates and a new way of looking at our All-time Top Twenty Articles. I know many of us are forced to look at these issues now. And we are upping our visibility in indexes and directories. This process will continue. You can also read all about the journal by clicking on the 'About' button above, or read specific information for Readers, Authors and so on, using the links on the navigation bar to the right. You can also register as a 'user' to receive updates or if you wish to volunteer to be a referee. The journal is still completely open access, but it you value what we have published over the years, and want to see us continue, you might want to consider joining the Surveillance Studies Network, the not-for-profit association which owns Surveillance & Society. This will also give you a say in the future of the journal and help you get more involved in Surveillance Studies worldwide. Finally, if you want to read a more personal account of the process of running S&S, take a look here. |
